BBA Program Details:

Introduction

The Bachelor of Business Administration program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of business processes and the opportunity to develop expertise in a specific area of specialization. Students can select from a range of specialized courses based on their interests, such as Management, Finance, Marketing, Information Technology, Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship. Additionally, the curriculum emphasizes the development of effective communication skills and provides substantial exposure to social sciences. Students may opt to specialize in either Marketing and Finance or Information Technology.

The BBA Program aims to:

Provide students with a range of skills in organization, planning, control, team-building, and communication to effectively oversee and guide organizations in varied and ever-changing settings.
Equip students with knowledge of current social, economic, and political dynamics that influence the business landscape in Pakistan and worldwide.
Furnish students with insights into modern social, economic, and political conditions that affect the business environment in Pakistan and on a global scale.
Foster problem analysis and decision-making skills essential for addressing the challenges encountered by contemporary businesses. Students will acquire the capacity to sustain growth through the enhancement of management expertise and abilities.
Cultivate problem analysis and decision-making skills necessary for managing the challenges encountered by modern businesses. Students will develop the ability to sustain success through the acquisition of management knowledge and skills.
Ensure a balance between theoretical concepts and hands-on experience in education, incorporating a deep understanding of various business functions to form a cohesive strategic framework that allows students to analyze management issues from a comprehensive viewpoint.
Provide students with the necessary quantitative and qualitative skills to recognize potential business prospects and effectively bring new entrepreneurial projects to fruition.

Requirements

A student must achieve 126 semester credits for the award of a bachelor’s degree. Out of this total requirement, at least 33 credits must be earned in general education, including sciences, humanities, social sciences, and arts courses; minimum 72 credits in core subjects related to the degree program of the student and the remaining credits may be earned in optional courses.

The students are required to undertake a project and satisfactorily complete an eight-week internship for the award of 6 credits for the Bachelor’s degree.

Eligibility

Holders of any one of the following qualifications are eligible for admission

* High School graduation (12 years of school education)

* Higher Secondary School Certificate or Intermediate Certificate in science, arts, or commerce (FA, FSc, I.Com)

* Diploma in Commerce with Certificate in Commerce (D.Com)

* GCE or Equivalent: Minimum eight (Pakistan Based) or five (Overseas Based) O' Level subjects plus three A' Level subjects including one subject from economics, business or maths.

* International Baccalaureate

In addition to the minimum qualification, candidates are required to qualify a written test and an interview for admission

All elective courses are determined by the University at the beginning of each semester and are offered to the entire class. Students may not deviate from the block of optional courses offered by the university in any given semester.

In addition to the requirements for earned credits, a cumulative grade-point-average (GPA) of minimum 2.0 for all bachelors degree programs on a scale of 0.0 - 4.0 must be attained.
